On 10 March 2026, Ms. Rapeerat Rachapes, Director of the Office of Institution and Community Organizations Development and Cross-border Trade Team, Office of Foreign Affairs, led 5 entrepreneurs selected from the AgriBiz Global Pitch program to participate in the 51st FOODEX JAPAN 2026, the largest food and beverage trade exhibition in Asia, held at Tokyo Big Sight in Tokyo, Japan, from 10–13 March 2026. The participation aimed to promote Thai agricultural and processed food products in international markets while providing opportunities for entrepreneurs to engage in business negotiations and build trade networks with international partners.
On this occasion, Mr. Witchu Vejjajiva, Ambassador of Thailand to Tokyo, together with representatives from relevant government agencies, visited the booth of the Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives (BAAC) and sampled products from the participating Thai entrepreneurs, while also providing recommendations on expanding the market for Thai agricultural and processed food products in Japan.
